2024 Toro Bulls Cheer Tryouts

Where: GSE - Golden State Elite - 538 Brunken Ave., # 2, Salinas

When: April 27 @ 10am to 4pm

Teaching session: Monday April 22nd and/or Tuesday 23rd @ GSE 4:30-6pm. Each applicant will learn a short 7-10, 8 count dance that will contain basic skills. This will be what they perform for the panel of judges.   

Judged by 3 highly skilled cheer personnel from outside of the Toro Bulls organization.

Results posted: Sunday April 28th by 12pm

Nonrefundable deposit: $100 (applied to registration if cheerleader makes squad)

Max number of cheerleaders: 24 per squad.

We are not bound to this number.  The squad will be the number of cheerleaders that makes the best overall and balanced squad.  We are not building a squad to fit a number, we will use the number that fits the squad. 

Fees for 2024 Season

Cheer camp is MANDATORY for all cheerleaders and is included in the registration costs.

Camp will be held Monday July 29th through Friday August 2nd. 

Mighty Mite Cheer
* $ 450.00 Registration
* PLUS $ 150.00 Uniform Fee (There will be a fundraising opportunity)
Covers - Uniform (skirt, shell, liner), poms, briefs, bows (season (home & away) and awareness),
shoes, warm-up and backpack.


JPW, PW and Midget Cheer
* $450.00 Registration
* PLUS $ 375.00 Uniform Fee (There will be a fundraising opportunity)
Covers - Uniform (skirt, shell, liner), poms, briefs, bows (season (home & away) and awareness), 
shoes, and backpack.
New cheerleaders will also have an additional fee of $ 175.00 for their track suit.

Payment plans for REGISTRATION FEES ONLY are available in 4 monthly installments.

Cheer Divisions

* Mighty Mites - 4 to 6 years old (MUST be 4 years old by 8/1/24)

* Junior Pee Wees - 7 to 8 (9) years old (MUST be 7 years old by 8/1/24)

* Pee Wees - 9 to 11 (12) years old (MUST be 9 years old by 8/1/24)

* Midgets - 11 to 13 years old (MUST be 11 years old by 8/1/24)
